Prof. Francisco García, researcher of the area of Toxicology and medical examiner at the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Catalonia, will attend the 22th Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Association of Forensic Doctors and the Legal Medicine School. This meeting will take in March 8th 2019, in the “Centro de Estudios Jurídicos”, Madrid. The conference brings national renowned speakers, as well as the participation of researchers and university students who will present their work and innovations in this field of Forensic Medicine. For a cleaner and healthier air in Kathmandu, The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and World Health Organization (WHO) – Nepal organized “Introductory Training on Health Impact Assessment/Health Economics and Data Analysis Workshop”, a five-day session with 35 representatives from different government agencies working on air quality and related experts, from national and international government organizations, academia, hospitals and representatives from Government of Maldives and WHO offices (HQ, SEARO, India, and Nepal country offices). Dr. Joaquim Rovira, expert in atmospheric pollution of TecnATox, joined the course as a WHO external assessor. You can find more information in the WHO press release.
