The research group of EI&ST focuses on research and education using modern computational methods e.g. Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Fuzzy Logic, Bayesian Networks, Clustering and other emerging approaches. These methods are useful for analyzing and modelling environmental problems as well as in the development of advance systems for intelligent monitoring of the environment.  In the area of specialized system toxicology, TecnATox provides unique research expertise in integrated use of advanced computational tools supporting environmental and biological data analyses for comprehensive data interpretation.
